Known for his latin, dub, breakbeats and funk, DJ Hubbz knows no boundaries. During the day Hubbz toils through mountains of wax at Vancouver’s institution, Beat Street Records. After dark, he plays several weeklies such as the 17 year long running “The Payback” Saturdays. Hubbz was the first and only deejay to use all 45’s for the prestigious Red Bull 3-Style competition and most recently Hubbz brings you his own 7″ imprint, Bubbascope Records, challenging the latin breakbeat funk sound, now on it’s 3rd release.
